| CHAPTER 10 : The Garden Of Eden |
|
"I will show mercy unto thousands of them that love Me and keep my commandments."
The Master does not break His promises to mankind. He has said to me over and over again: "Give not your time to the conversion of those about you, for these will feel the power that I place within you and benefit there-from. Your task is to write My final testa-ment with simplicity and clarity, that all future generations may understand and benefit therefrom. You were the chosen servant for this work long before your birth; a knowledge of which has been given to you. It was not a person of high education that I desired; rather, one of average learning and ability, able to think as the average person thinks; to this end you have been educated. "These writings are designed to correlate the unwritten knowledge with the writings of all My previous prophets, each of whom has said a part, but none before has been given a knowledge of the whole as you have. Leave no misunderstandings, for this is My Final Word, given as I have promised. "Not all of the things that shall be revealed to you will be written; My Archangel will lead you in the path of My will. The world is not yet ready for all the things which I tell you, and even your strength could not bear to know many of the things I would like to tell you, for I could cripple your carnal mentality with revelations." Even as Jesus prophesied, "I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. How be it, when he, the Spirit of Truth, is come he will guide you in all truth; For he shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak, and he will shew you things to come." (John 16:12,13) Ours is the fortunate, the chosen generation whose eyes shall see the glory of the coming of God's kingdom on earth. Herein He has given you the truth, that the truth may make you free. As many as ask shall receive; as many as seek, shall find. To the thousands who love Him and keep His commandments, His spiritual gifts shall be without number. To the children of these people belong God's earthly kingdom, free of disease, want, and war -- truly a "Garden of Eden." For though politics may fail, science may fail, though all animal agencies shall fail, and kingdoms fall, His universal kingdom shall live forever. Man today is living a lie. Mainly animal, he claims his ideals to be Godlike. Nations who dare to call themselves Christian and churches who call themselves Christian, in the guise of justice breed distrust of other spiritual men. They live in fear for their bodies, their earthly power, and their material wealth. The reign of animal man on earth is fast drawing to a close. The Master decrees it. Now is the time; this is His chosen generation. Stop right where you are and think! Examine yourselves in the light of what you have read; then which of you will dare to say, "Master, behold me, I am clean, I am worthy to be an inheritor of the Garden of Eden"? My sisters, we have raised our last generation of cannon fodder. My coloured sisters, no longer shall feast and famine walk side by side and call itself. "Christ like." Each heart will be raised in the solemn promise of "Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven." Follow each step.
Selfish pursuits bring but the most temporary carnal pleasure, and can take anywhere up to ten thousand earth-years to erase. For each iniquity must be paid for in full measure. This is eternal justice; no intelligent man can fail to see it otherwise. What, then, is to be gained by folly? How can any say it is logical to adopt the lowest rule of conduct, to persecute those who persecute you? Just where does this attitude lead but to destruction? Do we need any more proof of this than we have already had? Suspicion breeds suspicion; revenge breeds revenge. If asked to turn the other cheek, is this foolish? While the animal ego screams for revenge, how blissfully spirit rejoices in its conquest! Why leave it up to someone else to make the first move? Why float in the limbo of the apathetic? In love there is strength. Love Him to the exclusion of all else and have fear of no man. Fear is animal; love is divine. With a few words. Jesus could have escaped the cross and gained freedom, but to what ends? That He should gain the whole world, yet lose His place in Heaven? We have exactly the same choice today. Why be afraid to tell other countries of your love? Truth and wisdom are all-powerful, and the pen is ever mightier than the sword. As David felled Goliath, so prayer can meet the atom bomb and the horrible consequences of radioactivity. Basically, the spirit is of equal strength in all mankind. Pray for the spiritual guidance of any material enemy and the inner power of that same carnal man will triumph. In loving Him you cannot help but love all His children as thyself. Every man who walks this Earth has an equal share in the eternal kingdom, according to his individual worth. Unlike nature, who distributes her gifts with impartial abandon through chromosomes, Infinity bestows His common denominator with equality and justice. The power of sincerity is not given exclusively to the rich or to the poor, to the brilliant mind or the dullard, to one race or creed more than to another; the inner power is given to each, at birth, in like measure. Mankind's every problem will be solved with mathematical accuracy when he recognizes this common denominator as the basis for all reckoning. First-class citizens will be the ones with integrity; not the intelligentsia; second-class citizens, those who set themselves second-rate standards, yet the height of achievement is within the reach of all. Store up eternal riches; think beyond threescore years and ten. He has promised to return the love given in overflowing measure. Learn the utter joy of giving, the joy of serving the Beloved. Don't try to do it alone: pray; confess; meditate; study. Search for your deficiencies, find your inner self, and your link with Deity is secure. "Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened that it cannot save, neither is His ear heavy that it cannot hear; but your iniquities have separated you between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear." (Isaiah 59:1,2.) Listen to the voice of conscience. Spirit will not fail to tell you what is right and wrong, true or untrue. The inner power adds its own charm to the animal personality, and it is a likable companion when given its freedom -- the very essence of oneself. Spirit looks for the best, and finds the best in humanity. The development of one's inner resources is an adventure no man can overlook. Ride the dark horse! Spirit has access to its brethren with mental powers far beyond animal capacity. Once in harmony, the animal will gasp at its former struggling attempts to see beyond its own sphere. The inner power contributes true pride of confidence and certainty of direction -- constant progress. Given the opportunity, it can enrich earthly living beyond measure. First, the petty cares of day-to-day problems fade into insignificance: annoying little aches and pains vanish; sloth and crime are eradicated. Suspicion of others melts into thin air, along with thoughts of greed, vengeance, aggression, and oppression. How fair is this dear earth! How scarred its face is becoming from man's quarrelling. Why must it be so? Has the man yet been born who has not asked himself why and to what purpose? Who has ever gained from conflict? If sanity and "sound" leadership have got earth into this situation perhaps we should take a look at some of the more illogical examples of leadership that history has to offer -- the crazy men. Buddha for instance, among the wealthiest men of his time, who could command his harem at the snap of a finger, who was possessed of a palace, a princess and an heir -- what reasoning caused him to run off to poverty and privation in the forest? What madness? Did Moses use logic? He forsook the solid comfort of the flesh -pots of Egypt, an opportunity to rule a powerful nation. Why should a man such as this worry himself over a handful of miserable slaves and risk all to free them? In our terms, what was the percentage? How much time did people like Martin Luther, The Bab, Joan of Arc, or Mahatma Ghandi spend fretting over personal considerations? To the average American today, their motives are incomprehensible -- plain crazy. Large donations to charity -- yes; after every personal need has been met, that makes us feel good, eh? But selfless motivation cannot be understood; it is illogical to the carnal mentality. Selfless motivation is the complete and total answer to every problem facing mankind today -- when each individual devotes his whole energy to fighting the real enemy -- S E L F! When humanity's dark night of self-interest is ended, each will awaken refreshed after untroubled sleep in the Garden of Eden on earth, every dawn bright with expectation, all going about their business with a genial "Hi, neighbour!" and a certainty of purpose, attacking daily tasks with vigour. Bickering, backbiting, and personality conflicts will no longer be a factor to enervate or jangle the nerves, for all are one in endeavour. The joy and good fortune of others will make all rejoice as if the happy event were their own; likewise, sorrows and unavoidable setbacks will be shared in common, and keen disappointments will be partially nullified by the way friends rally round to lend a hand. Each will think in terms of service to all. Gone will be the days when man draws his head into his tight little shell like a tortoise and pretends he can't see where his efforts are needed. He'll be alive and active, looking to see where the most good can be done, planning his time to accommodate his service schedule. Pride of achievement will be the motivating force, knowing the best possible job has been done with the facilities at hand. No great talent is necessary. Perhaps you bake a super apple pie, play the piano quite well, have the knack of getting along with youngsters, are a whiz at chess, or maybe you're a good listener: go find someone who will get pleasure from your talents and share them -- give of your best. Open for yourself new horizons of pure delight in giving; giving of your innermost resources. Try thinking of yourself as being like an embryonic chick, envisioning the world as limited by its shell; then chip through this shell of selfishness and finally break through to the sunlight, amazed to find a whole new life to be explored. Become as a child again, wide-eyed and eager to learn. Take the time and trouble to mix with those of backgrounds to which you are unaccustomed -- the folks who leave you a wee bit mystified as to their reasoning and habits -- learn to understand them; share their experiences. You'll get so much out of it if you open the doors of the mind that were formerly shut and bolted. When travelling, get out and meet the people of other lands, the everyday working Joes. Spread goodwill, break through the cultural barriers and realize it's not the people who are different; but their environment and their training. The more you learn the more you will inwardly chuckle to yourself at how little you knew before (as Mark Twain did). In humility plumb the utter depths of relaxation; get the right perspective on how important you really are. On a par, shall we say, with the rooster who thought his crowing commanded the sun to rise each morning? When -- and only when -- the full import of humility hits home is man free. Free, in equality, to open wondering eyes and see the universe as his university: free to drink at the fountainhead of wisdom. Think of the effect, if the vast sums of money and effort now spent on police forces, penal institutions, and defense budgets, were being released into the economy for progressive enterprises. Worldwide women's organizations exchanging ideas. Imagine the thrill of turning on the National News Bulletin each day to hear new stories of conquest over malnutrition and misery, to learn of the gestures of goodwill brought forward as spiritual man triumphs, to see pictures of progress, wider and wider coverage of assistance to underdeveloped countries; view with amusement the highly competitive race among the richer nations, each trying to outdo the other in fields of sport, art, science, and most of all, in generosity to the materially underprivileged. Imagine loving all with the same intensity as one loves a brother. Feel the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, encompass you as with shining impregnable armour, when at last you can lift glowing eyes to the sky, calling" Father, behold me. I am clean." Judgment day on planet earth draws nigh; even that day when it shall be fitted to join in proudly as a fully fledged member of His universal family. Fight fearlessly, my brothers, and, when His Garden of Eden is prepared, make ready to receive your King. "Let not your heart be troubled: Ye believe in God, believe also in me; and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also." (John 14: 1,3). |
