In a single moment the Big Bang released sufficient life energy to sustain the Universe until such time as the outreach is complete and I have drawn all things back again unto Myself.
The function of the Alpha -- Omega cycle has but one purpose -- to fulfil the law of evolution. The outward thrust or descent cycle extends the dominion of light. It allows My spiritual children the opportunity to acquire an identity and express themselves constructively. Together we reap a magnificent harvest of expanded consciousness. The Universe is founded on principles of mathematics, geometry and music. Perfect ideas are molded to encompass the entire Universal Play. A matrix is formed in much the same way the blueprint of an earthly creation is made by a designer. Mine are endowed with life energy in different scales of vibration and are pushed outwards into the dimension of substance to coagulate into existence. Although much of the clarity of the original mathematical -- geometrical -- musical balance is lost in the translation from conceptual to structural form, a ceaseless struggle to regain the perfection of the original idea ensues. Cybernetics is a current term useful to describe this process. It is like learning to play darts. When aiming for the bull's-eye the novice may throw his dart too far to the left of the target. He then overcompensates by a far right aim, or will hit too high or too low. Repeated practice provides feedback by which the brain learns to modify response and correct errors in judgement. This eventually permits the player to hit the bull's-eye. An observer has no such opportunity to improve his skills for his feedback mechanisms are not activated. Such is the law of activity and inertia in action. Ideas, in ever ascending scales of complexity, are released over the ages. These can be classified under the headings of science, philosophy, psychology and theology. Macrocosmic and microcosmic energies strive to consolidate the new and gradually squeeze out the old. The Heavenly Host provides a continuous stream of guidance, projecting clearer and clearer pictures of perfection: technical knowledge of how the universe works; philosophical understanding of how it's put together; psychological revelation of the relationship of man to his universe; and spiritual capacity to reciprocate My Love. It is as if these concepts were once "seen through a glass darkly; but now face to face". Once one piece of the puzzle is consolidated, a layer of mist or separation between us clears and the original idea is seen with ever increasing clarity. I first manifest as individual microscopic particles -- like dust specks of truth. These microdots can be fitted together to form a piece of the jigsaw puzzle of life. These curious jigsaw pieces are then seen to overlap; their rough edges need polishing -- then more can be fitted together and blended into knowledge as a whole. Men are often so jealous of their microdot that they are unwilling to give or take a new aspect which might be the key to fitting many strange truth shapes into a comprehensive whole. Until all men are willing to step back from a myopic focus and share their piece of Me with others, I cannot be known as the Supra-ordinate Whole. Yet all knowledge is a gift of grace, bestowed on sincere seekers by I AM. The path to the summit of human consciousness is scaled by men and women from all fields of endeavour. Adam, Abraham, Hatshepsut, Pythagoras, Socrates, Galileo, Freud, Einstein; names, oh so many names come to Mind. These introspective pioneers had a passion for truth which cut across their Super-ego needs of social acceptance. They too learned to ignore the mob crying "Crucify! Crucify!" Like leaven, these malleable men and women raised the whole loaf of human knowledge. The truths they uncovered shine like a beacon over time, illuminating the divine agenda, clearly spotlighting the areas wherein My focus of attention was beamed with each succeeding earth age. In this way I make man heir to the creative process, gently unfolding mind, carefully leading my children down the path of love and eternal progression. Like father, like son. No earthly father is more delighted than I to watch his baby making its first mud pies, then knocking them over to be reformed into a different design; or forming sand castles with moats to let the waves rush in. I have difficulty containing My emotion watching small children playing on the beach, seeing great similarity between their little tiny molds of starfish or crabs and My own early attempts at formation. Privately I refer to this as My Nature-boy phase -- the mathematics and geometry period which preceded the finished symphony of light and motion in balanced harmony. Like all other expanding corporations, as the complexity of interacting factors increased, My Omnipotence, having mastered one aspect, had to delegate it to a specialized department set up to handle specific details. In this case I called the department Nature, and the recycling plant antinature. Between us we have built an awe-ful lot of sand castles in our day. Energy, love, light, motion, or music -- call it what you will, it is the joy that makes it all happen. It is the blood of My Being. Of itself life energy is neutral, comparable in a sense to electricity. Right or wrong usage of life energy is the determining factor in infinite progression. In the lower kingdoms of earth life there is no question of misuse of life energy for free will is not involved. Man alone, by virtue of his godly prerogative of free will, can predetermine how his life energy will be spent. Anyone who makes even feeble attempts to improve life in any aspect contributes to the goal of the manifestation of the perfect matrix on the earth plane. Thus he receives the support and approval of the heavenly host, or an increased capacity for magnetic attraction of the life forces. Parenthood, authorship, philosophy, architecture, politics, psychology, medicine, technology, business, science, animal husbandry, music, the rule is the same for all sincere endeavour. Spiritual thought weaves and shimmers, twisting into shapes and colours with the flexibility of steam. During the descent process the steam becomes as water needing a mould through which to express itself -- such as a cup, a tap, a hose, a riverbed. In the continuing descending spiral even water is too free flowing, and so it turns to ice. The physical world represents the state where ideas crystallize into separate microdots of truth with little trace of their former flexibility. But now, having a crude outline to work with, the sculptor can chip away until the model is slowly brought to its intended design. During the ascending cycle, the mask of error is shaken loose under increased vibratory action and truth is systematically revealed in all its intended beauty. In this way greater and greater ideas are actualized and Universal development proceeds according to plan. A dedicated horticulturalist might be chosen to uncover the blueprint of the perfect rose, a highly rust resistant strain of wheat, the ultimate plum tree. In animal husbandry the contribution may be towards the breeding of selected cattle, dogs, sheep, swine -- any animal superb in both strength, beauty and performance. These kinds of plants and animals are capable of a highly efficient utilization of life energy. They give extraordinary satisfaction and outstanding performance in their field. In its theological application, the Judaic jigsaw piece, made up of many microdots, provides a readily understood example. The law given to Moses in the Ten Commandments was evolutionary in its time. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth represented a tremendous upgrading of basic rudimentary justice for rich and poor alike.Once this concept was digested and established. Christianity introduced the next stage towards an even clearer understanding of godliness in action -- turn the other cheek; if any man take away thy cloak give him also thy coat; bless them which persecute you. Men and households who truly lived by and defended the law of Moses were ready to attune to the higher law of more refined energy usage when it was brought down to planetary consciousness. Those who clung to antiquated rhetoric, failed to develop. By demonstrating inefficiency in past performance, they were shrugged off the ongoing evolutionary process as being too coarse for further upgrading. This gradual shedding of the dense worldly skin of mortal molding has been accelerated to a tremendous degree in recent years. In the physical process of growing up, cells in the body are constantly dying and being reborn to closer fit the adult blueprint. So is it with spiritual maturation. A man must die to his old self -- die, and die again, stripped bare of every outmoded detail, crucified in mortality, to be resurrected into eternity. The energy-matrix rule is the same for both individuals and institutions. This applies particularly to those persons who elect to go into My Service to become religious teachers. And even more specifically to religious institutions, such as the group chosen by Peter to spread the message of spirit, in its total purity, to succeeding generations. Pope John and I got along very well. He fully understood the urgent need for reformation, as indeed did his logical spiritual successor. However, the Papal enclave chose to support tradition before progression. They placed the emphasis on Roman before Catholic Church when voting for a new leader. This, in spite of grave warnings contained in the controversial Fatima Prophecies, which were suitably suppressed as strong "dislike" items in Super-ego expectations. In showing an unwillingness to forego its national (tribal) bias by choosing an Italian bishop to succeed Pope John, the Senate overlooked the first commandment: THOU SHALT HAVE NONE OTHER GODS BEFORE ME. Although this final act of sacrilege sealed its fate, the die was not cast by a single incident of power abuse. Spirit has battled with individuals and concepts within the Christian Church with more tenacity than anywhere else on the planet. Right and wrong application of spiritual energy within the Mother Church has produced both spiritual giants and hideous distortions on every page of its history. Karmic Law decrees that every single decision in the use of life energy, made by every single representative of the church since its first ordination, is weighed in the balance. Not one jot or tittle is overlooked. The Karmic retribution now in effect stems from the buildup of misapplied God-granted power during centuries of selective screening of My Word to suit the aims of Churchianity before Christianity. This effect is particularly pronounced in Italy where the fruits of churchianity are most evident. Recent terrorism and political murders are but details in the long history of decline and decay. It is the stagnant, hypocritical -- yes, even infallible -- attitude of the Church which has promoted a way of life that makes all Italian laws and institutions function defectively. Scholastic nausea, rejection by intellectuals of church bureaucracy, disorganization of law courts, bribery, corruption, unbelievable jails and insane asylums, staggering worker apathy and absenteeism, degrading scandals in the opera management, with communism the diabolical decoy -- all this, together with earthquakes and natural disasters unparalleled in Italian history, are part of the Armageddon process in action. Yet I desired the church as a guest at My Wedding.
Verses 8 - 13 refer to the requirement of aura purification before any dare approach the wedding feast. Once in the flesh, man is placed in a position where he can choose freely how his share of life energy will be utilized. For man, being the offspring of Deity, has all the potential power of his Divine Inheritance to explore. During adolescence the personality explores the highways and byways of sense gratification, following whim of desire wherever it may lead. Along the way however, youth will invariably come to certain crossroads, identity crises, where decisions made will determine the direction of his destiny. At such crossroads, the pathway leading to growth is rarely as beguiling to the senses as the rose-strewn laneway of self- gratification. Thus the majority of mankind is lured into the cul-de-sac of spiritual stagnation. The endless quest for self-gratification, excessive thirst for power, sex, status, security, acquisition of material goods, begets disharmony. Each repeat of this addictive cycle makes it harder to break the pattern. Failure to be free from this cyclical pattern of misused life energy builds such a burden of karmic debt to be balanced in outer darkness, that all is lost. This is destructive or self-centered application of life energy. It is destructive because it is focused on the lower self, and so interrupts the energy flow into the immaculate matrix, where it would be used and then passed on to other cells who, too, must fulfil their destiny. The ancient Hermetic adage "As above so below" is a good way to explain the life energy circulation process. It is useful to equate physical bodily functions with those of the spiritual body. Life blood flows through the physical body to nourish every cell according to its need. It shows no discrimination whatsoever between a kidney cell or an eye cell -- there is plenty for all. But none may take more than is immediately needed, or it will become bloated, congested and have no room for fresh intake. Likewise no cell can consider itself more or less worthy to receive than any other. Ingestion, digestion and elimination are three equally important functions of human nourishment. If these three processes are kept in perfect balance, growth from infancy will proceed smoothly when balanced with proper exercise of the body. As no mother would love her infant less because it dirties its diapers, certainly I recognize that parenthood involves cleaning up effluvia, and for this I take the responsibility. Life Energy pulsing freely through My Macrocosmic Being is available for each microcosmic cell. There is no discrimination between saint or sinner, no concern for the usage the cells will make of their available supply. As the sun shines on flower and weed with equal warmth, so I seek to nourish and caress everything with life and love. The person who wants to make maximum use of his physical body learns to understand and apply Nature's Law to really get the most out of life. Tremendous bodily vigour can be achieved when attention is given to eating the right kinds of food, getting plenty of fresh air and exercise, developing endurance, resting regularly. It works exactly the same with Spirit. As it is not My Wish that any should be lost but that all should be saved and raised to full spiritual potential, I too have a law that can be readily understood and applied. By keeping one easy rule none need ever be cut off from the life flow, or experience any interruption in nourishment, nor faint, or ever be hungry for life energy. It is simply this: THOU SHALT HAVE NONE OTHER GODS BEFORE ME. As blood vessels come in a wide range of sizes, so do spiritual "life energy vessels" (capacity for VPS). When life is focused on Right Desire it carries within itself a blessing -- or an arterial expansion factor. Within every right desire lies the power of fulfilment. The quality and energy behind the desire governs the speed and clarity of its manifestation. Life energy expended in self-seeking desire congests the spiritual artery. It interrupts the free flow by emphasizing the separateness of the entity rather than the at-one-ment of all things. Take, for example, the story of the little finger of the left hand. It got to thinking that it was a rather insignificant digit and hatched a scheme to elevate itself. By closing off the outflowing veins, yet taking in all the clear blood through the arteries, it managed to gorge itself so full that it got to be three times its normal size. In a very short time it turned black and dropped off, never quite understanding what had gone wrong with its brilliant idea. Similarly, individuals sometimes imagine themselves to be more like pots than blood vessels. They devise ways to gain and hold onto life's bounty whether this be physical or spiritual, reasoning that this will make them brimful. The inevitable result is that they get puffed up and drop off the eternal ongoing growth process. Being members of a single body, the law of giving and receiving is synonymous. Only in this way can all life increase the capacity of the flow. Correct usage of life energy is constructive, not only for the individual using it, but for all. The highly productive milk cow not only produces greater milk yields, but also offspring with the potential to raise the standard of all cattle on the Planet. In this way a single bull calf can be of negligible value or a tremendous asset to its kind, according to his pedigree. In this sense I advocate -- take bountifully, take all you will of life, just as long as it is used productively and then passed along to others. Energy is not like water coming from a faucet. You cannot turn the tap on and off. A gallon measure for this one, a pint for the next, a cupful for those you can see, and the squeeze of an eyedropper for those you can't. Now I ask you, how could we ever run a Universe with that kind of a system? Either life and love energy flow freely and equally to all -- friends, foes, lovers, enemies, animals, plants - or arteriosclerosis sets in. The bubble of Mind sparkles and throbs with the Universal Energy dance. All that apparently empty space is teeming with intelligent life. It is difficult for man to conceive of intelligence which is not confined to a few ounces of greyish goo set inside an inverted bony basin covered in fuzz. But as disembodied spirit has a very similar difficulty, I'll not belabour the point. The vast ocean in which planets float like glistening ornaments is filled with multilevel sensible vibrations, each geared to and governed by a particular stream of Intelligent Energy acting in accord with its fellows. Call them what you will - Rays, Force Fields, Archangels, Life Forces. Words are words. Together these represent the collective unconscious flow of the life forces they govern. Elementary life energy is attuned to the band of vibration known as Nature. I gave Nature the blueprint and energy to administer her own evolutionary process. The good servant used her allotment wisely and produced the human android of her own industry. At the moment of conception a spark of divine magnetism is captured in matter to begin a life of outer activity. Nature provides a structure or vehicle through which spirit can manifest in the plane of matter. Death is the process by which the spiritual spark, now laden with the experiences of a lifetime in matter, separates from its vehicle and prepares for its return to Source. By natural law, any creature considered to be a poor energy investment is recycled into other forms. Physical man evolved naturally because, with the development of ego and Super-ego, he provided the maximum return on investment. Thus Nature, the ever dedicated talent scout, poured her heart and ingenuity into the human race. During his earth-time the energy released by man's pulsating thoughts is captured within the aura or magnetic force field in the form of light and colour. While the inner or physical aura fluctuates constantly with passing emotions, these same colours are reflected into an outer or spiritual aura which maintains them as a permanent record of events. In order to be healed or purified, the spirit must now spend a period of time in quarantine sorting out its life experiences in terms of proper and improper use of life energy. From a spiritual point of view, aura discolouration represents thought energy which has been misused. It is incompatible with the Divine Blueprint as the frequency range is too low for use in higher realms of consciousness. Therefore, Nature must retrieve this energy before the clarified identity may proceed through further stages of refinement on return to Source. From conception onwards each living thing consumes Nature's products in the form of food, clothing, shelter, water, air, etc. Now, the practical landlady must have her account marked "Paid in full" before the tenant can be released. The development of ego was primarily intended to incite mankind to generate more and more thought energy in Nature's department store. The relatively low scale of egotistical thoughtwaves are still the highest treasure in the natural kingdom. Thus the more ego oriented the individual, the more energy will be ejected from the aura after death. From a natural and antinatural perspective this means dividends, dividends, dividends!!! Only when the amount of energy expanded in remorse equals the amount of energy invested in acquiring a particular shading in the aura is the disembodied entity free to resume its journey. The ascent cannot start while the weight of earthly attraction still prevails. All the ramifications of spiritualism, possession, mediumship etc. are based on this principle. Like attracts like. I have often warned against tampering in these areas, especially by youngsters unable to discriminate between physical instincts and spiritual involvement. Gradually the spirit comes to learn that it must meet the price of earthly education by accepting the responsibility for the activities of its vehicle. It often comes as quite a shock to realize the enormity of the many misspent jots and tittles over three score years and ten. Many Buddhists and Hindus spend the larger part of earth-time in renunciation of all material goals in order that spiritual progress will be unhampered. The sifting process of disembodied personality might continue for many thousands of earth years. I seek to retrieve a few grains of pure gold from a huge pile of rock. Again and again the rock is crushed and run through finer and finer screen mesh. We sieve the mixture together. The components of Nature go back to nature. The spiritual essence comes to Me. I rarely strike it rich. But can you imagine the joy in heaven when I do? Blessed are they that live by the Law, for they shall see My Face. And My Name shall be on their countenance. And they shall reign with Me for ever and ever.
While My personalized aspect, My Jahl-Self, primarily rejoices over the spiritual harvest, My Omnipotence is concerned with all forms of life in the objective application of Universal Law. With the exception of the god-children, the rivers of life energy in the dimensions of Nature and Antinature sustain and govern all living species in harmony with the whole. The link is never broken regardless of whether the subject is located in the manifest or underside aspect of Nature's Kingdom. In this way, although lacking the complex biocomputer of the human animal, all lower life forms remain tuned in to a collective elemental unconscious, acting in unison to fulfil their microdot in the Divine Blueprint. Joy is their natural heritage. They are fed, clothed and bathed in the ocean of My Being. However estranged or artificial the environment of birth they seek no rationale. No man-made prison can deprive them of our sweet communion. Thus little lambs will gambol, piglets squeak and snort, and chicks stretch and chatter in the wonder of manifestation in form. In this way fish tuned into heavenly radar can return thousands of miles to their spawning grounds. Birds know when and where to fly south in winter and north in the spring. Bears hibernate, bees buzz. The vegetable kingdom likewise, near delirious with delight, responds to the miraculous advent of spring, feeling the waves of warmth, wind and light caressing its tenderest branches. Cleve Baxter does well to speculate that the animal brain may be just a switching mechanism, not necessarily a memory storage organ. "Sentience" says Baxter, "does not seem to stop at the cellular level. It may go down to the molecular, the atomic and even the subatomic. All sorts of things which have been conventionally considered to be inanimate may have to be re-evaluated." Even the Mineral Kingdom sings in the knowledge that Spirit interpenetrates all form and substance. It shares the web of reason that communicates the togetherness of all things. Today the elemental Kingdoms are poised in expectation. They too await deliverance from the degradation which human error has heaped upon their consciousness. Few earth travellers have seen the glittering perfection of the earth elements. Once crystalline and emitting the radiance of atomic fires as jewels in the footstool of My Throneroom, they have become dense and dull under the continuous bombardment of planetary effluvia. Even so they cry out in praise.
In all the Universe there is no planet more eminently suited to abundant living than Planet Earth. Here, man is in the process of becoming I AM through the prudent exercise of free will - right choice or wrong choice of energy expenditure. Each decision, and there might be hundreds of such decisions in a single day, brings him closer to or further from the radiance of I AM. Even so, light is not at war with darkness any more than good and evil are locked in mortal combat. It is the nature of light to cancel the effects of darkness. It is the nature of Spirit to lighten the world. It is the nature of Nature to purify its domain. It is the nature of life energy to fulfil the Divine Blueprint. To this end one of the prime functions of elemental life is to maintain conditions of cleanliness in the Natural Kingdom. You might call it garbage collection, street cleaning - washing each leaf and flower and dusting off the daisies. Fairies, gnomes, elves, trolls, leprechauns, devas, imps, and other popular cherubim and seraphim - like creatures are known around the world as Nature's domestic helpers. All are guided by the forces of light. It is an error to equate heaven with some distant place far removed from the plane of matter. Heaven is a state of mind, a state of living in Light. It is also an error to believe that matter and spirit are in opposition, or that the former is bad and the latter good. Rather they stand juxtaposed as extremes of vibratory life energy, with every possible tone of wavelength in between. Upon this framework the tapestry of life is woven. The very word matter is derived from the Latin root mater, or Mother. Matter provides the womb to nourish the god-seed wherein is My Love made Manifest. Therefore, to love Me yet wilfully harm or desecrate any part of My Natural element is inexcusable. Encipher as you have done it unto the least of these you have done it unto Me. Technology is the creative gift of being able to explore and harness the energies of matter to better serve The Divine Blueprint. This can be done wherever the technologist might find a useful application for his skill, such as improving the quality of a plant or animal species. Technology was intended to be a very privileged form of mutual husbandry: Spirit, Nature and man working together for the betterment of all. It is not difficult to see the disfavour with which I regard man, who has desecrated My Womb. Misused technology has primarily been geared to serve an elite few bent on power, often at great cost to the many. This, in spite of many lessons in the rise and fall of civilizations which tried to plunder Nature's storehouse of riches for personal profit. Ancient man regarded nature as his loving Mother Earth. He fully acknowledged the influence of sun, moon, planets and elemental intelligence upon his environment, as do the loyal remnants of native North Americans today. Hindus believe that with every indrawn breath man takes in life energy. They call it prana. Hippocrates, father of modern medicine, included many references to climate in his original works. Today, after many centuries of scepticism, man is rediscovering the vital role of atmosphere in the well-being of earth life. For example, at the time of the full moon it is understood that many of Earth's great creative minds are subject to lunacy. Seeds germinate faster at this time. Plant growth is accelerated. Haemophiliacs bleed more readily. Mentally disturbed people need more sedation. The homicide rate peaks. Philosophers have long since suggested that at the time of the full moon there is more electrical energy in the air than usual and metabolic processes are speeded up. As a result of technological abuse a marked change is occurring in the atmosphere surrounding Earth. Man has to deal with conditions which are altering daily from the natural energy fields in which he evolved. This adds a new dimension to the process - evolve or perish. It brings new portent to the Divine Decree as related to St John:
For the sincere technologist it can truly be said that plants are destined to be the bridesmaids at the wedding of physics and metaphysics. Like all the elemental forms of life, they are ready, willing and able to teach mankind how to go about building the new earth era, by compliance with life energy laws. This idea is not new. In 1748 I'Abbe Nollet discovered that plants placed under charged electrodes grew faster. Father Gian Battista Baccaria of Turin University, wrote in 1775, "It appears manifest that nature makes extensive use of atmospheric electricity for promoting vegetation. This constantly prevails when the weather is serene. We have also observed that artificial electricity has the same effect. Michael Faraday, the great English physicist, discovered that life energy is a phenomenon much like electricity. The lad received little formal education, but in 1812, after attending a scientific lecture, he requested employment with a scientific institution. He soon became established as the foremost experimental scientist of his day. He was the first person to plot the magnetic field around a conductor carrying an electric current. He discovered electromagnetic induction diamagnetism. He extended Newton's force field theory and led to many later discoveries, such as the fact that the sea of ether is filled with life energy. From the psychics' viewpoint Faraday's greatest invention was the Faraday Cage. For many years metaphysical scientists have used the Faraday Cage to test psychic powers. It is a room so heavily insulated with copper that no external electrical or radio waves can penetrate. It was later discovered that plants grown in a Faraday Cage, cut off from normal force fields, yet otherwise given full care, could only grow to about half their normal size. Similarly, plants subjected to various electrical force fields responded with a 3OO% speedup in their growth rate. Loliad explained that the underground gardens of Atlantic were the most beautiful ever beheld by man - yet their sole source of nourishment was vibratory. Luminescent life energy and electricity are very similar. A measurable force field, clearly discernable to an expanded consciousness, permeates earth's life forms. The depth, breadth, intensity and colour of the aura bespeaks the health, vitality and capacity for energy transmutation gained by that which it envelopes. Russia's Semyon Kirlian, by laying film in contact with a leaf and passing a high frequency electric current through both, was able to photograph the leaf's aura. Numerous experiments showed an identical aura in leaves from the same plants. After being picked the leaves gradually lost their sparkling luminescence until electrical death ensued. On one occasion, observers were startled to find certain discrepancies in the aura of leaves from the same species of plant. This was the result of a plant disease, undetectable by normal scrutiny, which showed up in the electrical body of the plant long before the physical manifestation was apparent. Disease and death quickly follow when a life form is no longer able to apply life energy to fulfilling the matrix of its being. Living matter responds to the stimuli of atmospheric changes in various ways. Plants for example, respond to the pull of gravity by producing roots which grow in the direction of the gravitational pull and stems which grow away from gravitational pull. Thus, the old adage that in plucking a daisy, one disturbs a star can no longer be regarded as mere philosophical dissertation. Nature's territory includes the ionosphere which is the outer part of the earth's atmosphere extending from about 50 miles above the earth's surface. At this altitude the air is very thin, and the atmospheric particles are ionized by ultraviolet radiations. As with all yin-yang life, ions come with positive and negative charges, and are responsible for electricity in the atmosphere. Scientists agree that air electricity is vital to sustain earth life, and is not something to be interfered with, as once lost there is no known method of replacement. A contemporary American climatologist warns that industry is pumping the equivalent of five trillion metric tons of carbon into the air every year. This has already created a problem which will last for hundreds of centuries. This pollution forms a high altitude blanket which prevents excess heat from escaping, causing a permanent rise in temperature - commonly known as the greenhouse effect. Such a drastic temperature increase could cause the polar ice caps to start melting, setting off world-wide floods and general changes in weather patterns. In the ideal country environment minute radiations from the soil, rock layers and the sun keep air electricity in balance with between one to two thousand ions in each cubic centimetre. While both positive and negative ions are essential to normal well-being, human civilization is upsetting the balance by destroying the more fragile negative ions. A shortage of negative ions causes persistent colds, nausea, generalized aches, headaches, bad tempers, listlessness, insomnia, loss of drive, etc. Russian scientists engaged in measuring the effects of positive and negative ions found that small laboratory animals died in a few days when ions were removed from the air. Photosynthesis, the process by which plants grow, cannot take place without ions in the atmosphere. In Europe, Brazil, Japan, Russia and Israel, scientists have now proven that when the natural ion count is disturbed the effects are just as damaging to human physical and mental health. Lightning clears the air of excess positive ions. But hours or days before the storm breaks the air is overloaded with positive ions which cause an oppressive reaction in both man and beast. Then, as all country folk know, during and after an electrical storm plants spring up, as the influx of negative ions takes the pressure off living things leaving radiant energy in its wake. Negative ions arrest harmful bacteria, literally clean the air. They improve the body's capacity to absorb oxygen. Negative ions are attracted to dust, pollen, pollution and moisture particles in the air. In attaching themselves to these particles they lose their charge. The energy in moving water generates negative ions. Mountain air has a high ion count, up to 1,000,000 per cubic centimetre, as there is less dust at higher altitudes. The ion count is always low in cities. The bigger the city the worse it is. The situation deteriorates annually as pollution continues to destroy the normal positive-negative ion ratio. Some people born in a city never know what it is to experience radiant health, but are constant victims of subtle maladies. In 1976 members of I AM - Institute of Applied Metaphysics, were told to leave the cities and live together as a family in the country and adopt very simple eating habits. They thought this was strictly a spiritual command and acted accordingly. However, once used to the fresh country air, the contrast they found when going to an office block or shopping centre was tremendous. A two hour wait in an airport building was totally devitalizing. Every human being on earth breathes about 2,500 gallons of air every 24 hours. In Nature ionization is a constant ongoing process. In artificial environments the depletion is extreme. Air conditioning is not the answer. Very often people working in centrally heated or air conditioned offices associate frequent colds with the draughts of hot or cold air. In fact, air which is forced through ducts is subjected to friction which results in an almost total loss of ions. The further the air has to travel the greater the loss. The high rise apartment dweller who works in a "dead air" sealed office building, stops for shopping or a meal in a restaurant, hops in the car, and home to the apartment, or to an evening at the cinema or indoor gym has almost no access to ions. Such a person cannot possibly know what it is to feel really alive and well. Most synthetic fabrics - carpets, drapes, clothes, underwear - make the situation worse as they generate positive ions, and so create a greater imbalance in ion ratios. Alien electrical fields are also created by T.V. sets, electric stoves and many household appliances. The massive electrical conductors which run across many parts of highly developed countries have been found to have a decided detrimental effect on farmers working in the fields nearby. Cattle get sick. Egg production is reduced. The fallout from air and car traffic is particularly serious, not only in decimating the ion count but in increasing harmful additives to the atmosphere. Atomic explosions produce devastating effects which will be present for centuries to come, and from this fallout there is no escape. Industrial pollution has almost claimed the life of the world's largest body of fresh water, the Great Lakes of North America. Japan is a serious offender in industrial pollution, Huge business conglomerates dominate the scene, seeking only their own ends, which, strangely enough, are national and financial security. No voice of protest has a legitimate outlet, which has resulted in serious rioting in the last decade. This myopic path to socio-economic security leads only to self-destruction, as countless cases of air poisoning prove. Indeed all illusions which do not consider the simple precept "live and let live" are self-destructive. Since the time of the industrial revolution, overworked Devas have been losing the battle of purifying Earth's land, sea and atmosphere. In a recent Hydro conservation advertisement on T.V., a puppet dog has to turn a wheel to produce electrical energy. As the number of electric lights turned on increases, the little dog has to pump harder, using more energy to keep the lights burning. So it is with Devas. They are desperately overworked and fighting a losing battle. Few earthlings seem to be either aware of what is happening or sufficiently concerned to act. Dedicated environmentalists cry out in vain.
