It is an awesome experience for a computer brain to contact superior intelligence in nonhuman form. My Heavenly Tutor was the Archangel Loliad-R-Kahn, whose humorous approach and patient understanding have earned my eternal gratitude.

Under Loliad's instruction I AM - Institute of Applied Metaphysics came into being in 1963. Since then its adherents have been led through the strangest journey ever undertaken by mortal man, to the point where, individually and collectively, we were led into the eye of the hurricane, there to meet the Living God face-to-face -and live. This took fifteen years of total commitment, and a preordination from the beginning of time.

This book is the eleventh in a series describing that journey. This viewpoint is not presented as speculation but as direct Revelation, not sought, but imprinted indelibly upon the consciousness. We hope the reader will approach the contents with an open mind, and meditative heart.

Loliad taught that this is a time of preparation on earth, and that in our lifetime we would see rise a new civilization, a new world order and the coming of a new spiritual dispensation.

Man's destiny is to evolve. Nothing can halt the tidal wave of evolution now bearing down upon this planet. Humanity is not following an unchartered course. There is a Divine Purpose in the Universe of which each person is a part.

Clearly, we are at that point in time where human ingenuity and established organizations fail to meet the world's problems. Such an age has been predicted for thousands of years. We have been taught that earth's time of tribulation would herald the advent of a great world Teacher. This Spiritual Leader is expected by millions of people of all faiths. It is the common denominator of hundreds of religious beliefs. Those of the Christian faith seek The Second Coming of The Christ, others use the name of their own special spiritual advocate. Be assured The Second Coming is a Universal event, not confined to any one group.

At this period on earth we are told that two will be standing side by side, and one will be saved, the other lost. In the last few years there has been a clear cut separation of the believers and nonbelievers. Famous personalities, astronauts, boxers, porno merchants, businessmen, actors have suddenly come out in public to state their positive religious beliefs in no uncertain terms. God, it appears, is not dead after all! Yet others hedge - often the social churchgoer fears to declare his faith publicly. Clearly mankind is being counted, the goats on the one hand and the sheep on the other.

These are times of decision. Preparation of men of God-will is needed to initiate new values for living, new attitudes, unifying religious concepts. Man will not be judged by the religious denomination into which he was born, but individually, according to his spiritual strength.

Technically speaking, Metaphysics is that branch of philosophy which explores the nature of truth and reality. In exploring the dimensions of man the metaphysician is led into an indepth investigation of the four basic fields of psychology, science, philosophy and theology. Although seemingly diverse, these territories overlap and ideas often interact. We believe that by taking any of these paths to the summit of the mountain of human consciousness man reaches the same destination. Fifteen years ago when this idea was first expressed, it was greeted with a roar of outrage.

Throughout the ages scientists have believed that nothing could escape investigation by the scientific method. Now it seems this scientific belief is faltering, defeated by the figures of its own equations. Perhaps God did create the Universe after all. Science has reached the point of agreeing that the Universe was originally a huge mass of unimaginable density. Then came the Big Bang, but there seems to be no logical reason for our explosive origin. For many brilliant minds it is like a nightmare. After climbing to the summit of scientific knowledge they find the theologians have had the territory staked out for centuries.

As a result of its open-minded and divergent approach, we find that metaphysics ties it all together, makes sense of nonsense, blends in conflicting ideas, which, with just a shade of flexibility can become reconciled, unified as being separate parts of a single concept.

Man needs this common denominator. Let's face it, in anybody's terms homo-sapiens is an endangered species. Division of interest is the principle threat. The evidence is all around us - Protestant vs Catholic; Anglo vs Francophone; Jew vs Muslim; labour vs employer; even mothers vs their unborn children; black, white, yellow and red skinned men all at odds with each other.

Deeply concerned and knowledgeable men have foreseen this coming for decades. In 1969, the Secretary-General of the United Nations wrote:

"I do not wish to seem overdramatic, but I can only conclude from the information that is available to me as Secretary-General, that the Members of the United Nations have perhaps ten years left in which to subordinate their ancient quarrels and launch a global partnership to curb the arms race, to improve the human environment, to defuse the population explosion, and to supply the required momentum to development efforts. If such a global partnership is not forged within the next decade, then I very much fear that the problems I have mentioned will have reached such staggering proportions that they will be beyond our capacity to control."

Yet we believe this is all part of the Master Plan and that each individual has the inner capacity to work out his own salvation. The faculty to distinguish between the real and the illusion, light and darkness, truth or falsehood is a key point. Seemingly we are being offered the choice of evolving to full spiritual maturity, or in failing to discriminate, being cast aside into the melting pot of Universal Spirit.

Harvest time for Planet Earth is drawing nigh. It's worth thinking about.
